Hi IllogicallyLogical, thanks for your reply!Much appreciated. I ran your rsop.msc and the policy was undefined. I then ran gpedit.msc and the security setting is set to 10 logons. With regards to this example, what possible reason could there be for windows xp to not allow a user to logon outside the domain? The problem I have is that we have laptop shared by about 8 users.
