CCNA is a great certification to have. In fact, I am currently in graduate school and my "Networking Technology" class uses Todd Lammle's CCNA Study Guide, Deluxe Edition as its textbook. I was a bit surprised to learn that a graduate level technology class was using a CCNA book, but...
Is it possible to create a formula that displays the last date from a field that contains several dates? I have a sales database that contains several users, contacts, and dates of their appointments. I would like to create a formula in which I can view just the very last date they contacted...
Hello all!
I am a beginning Crystal user and am having trouble creating a formula to do the following:
* I have a string field ({Rep}), that contains a user ID number and their name. The ID number is always constant, but may contain a different beginning variable. This will be either a...
I think your problem can be summed up in the error message received:
Error code: 65, message: Network access is denied.
You do not have proper network permissions either on the server or a remote share point on the network. Very possible it could be your local PC. Contact your system admin...
Open the report in CR 9 - from Database, choose Verify Database, save the file, republish to CE 9. I had the same exact problem when I started and that fixed it for me. You will not be able to publish report to CE 8 nor will you be able to use this report in CR 8.5 after you do the above...
I'm afraid I do not know the answer to your question sbdavis. I had this problem with CE 9 and was looking for an answer - this is what I found.

If you are using "Guest" access or Enterprise access, just enable it for each account that has this limitation by clicking on the "Preferences" link at...
Any update to this? I have same problem and I am not about to edit my registy and certainly not going to write Java to fix the problem. This is utter BS that they would limit us like this - I am so angry with Crystal Decisions. My reports worked just fine under CE 8.5, now in CE 9, this is my...

if no, check your database, this should work...then try again...
if yes, move on to step 2
2. OpMgr to ContHist using AcctNo.
That worked for me...however, all of the fields I chose after the link...
I haven't seen anyway to backwards save in CR 9 (however, I haven't explorered all of the options yet either!). It will take a CR 8.5 report and when save it normally will say that it is converting to CR 9 and will therefore not be readable by CR 8.5.
Good question and good luck.
