ntdsatrib can't connect to server

NtdsAtrb cannot connect to Exchange 5.5 server
I have just installed Active directory; and am looking to migrate our Exchange 5.5 mailboxes to Exchange 2003 on a new Windows 2003 server... In preparation, I am attempting to run the ntdsatrb utility to look for potential mailbox migration issues. I get a "cannot connect to server" message...- dowen
