No. As it happens I'm connecting to a Linux mail server (postfix) but the server wasn't an issue with Outlook Express; I was able to view the raw text once the email had been downloaded to my PC.
Hi, I need to be able to view the complete raw text of a message, including the headers, body and any attachments.
Outlook Express offers the ability to do that by clicking on File/Properties/Details/Message Source.
However, as far as I can see Outlook 2003 only allows you to see message...
Hi,
I have Apache 2.0.43 running on a server connect to the internet and Apache 2.0.48 on my PC both versions are running under Linux 2.4
I'm using the Firefox (1.5) browser and when viewing a web page that is exactly the same on both the internet and local servers I can see the data in an...
Many thanks. I've tried the link you suggested and it would appear that I am safe.
I suspect that the messages are appearing to come from me rather than mailer-daemon because root is aliased to me and mailer-daemon is aliased to root.
Thanks again,
Doug
I always seem to have a number of messages in my out queue purporting to come from me which I know I've not sent, does this mean that my mail server is an open relay? I'm adding some output from the mailq command plus part of my main.cf file below.
We have very few real users on the system...
Thanks for the suggestion but I've just discovered what it is.
The problem is to do with a security feature of cookies. A cookie is only valid between to specified computers, the one sending the cookie and the one storing it.
In my case my script, running on computer A, gets a page from...
I need to automate a login (with the site's permission!) to a menu page, drill down from that menu page to a detail page and display that page on a user's browser. The detail page then has links to further information on the same server that the user may wish to access.
I've managed to get as...
Hi, I have a new (last year) IBM X31 laptop which has replaced and earlier model IBM Thinkpad. Can you use the power supply from the previous machine on the new one so that I have a backup for home?
What are the numbers that I should be checking and what sort of tolerance would be acceptable...
Hi, I'm coming into this thread late but, for what it is worth, I have a Smartdisk Firelite (admittedly 40Gb but you can get 80Gb as well) which connects by USB (both 1.1 and 2.0) and which is brilliant. It is tiny (it will go into a shirt pocket) totally silent, fast (subjectively) and...
Thanks for this - I had already tried this once, but tried it again and discovered that I had not unchecked 'Convert Null Fields to Default Value'.
At last, it works!
Many thanks
Doug
I am using the version of Crystal Reports that comes with Visual Studio 2003 which I think is v9.
I have a table in an access database (Jet 4.0) which has 4 records one of which has a date in a date column the others are blank.
I cannot display the 3 records with the blank date cells. I've...
Re-installing the OS is a somewhat nuclear solution that I was hoping to avoid, it means, apart from anything else, that I will lose all of my emails.
Did you try re-installing VB .Net?
This includes Compact Framework apps.
It gets to the point where it is trying to launch the application. It's as if it is trying to find something to do with the launch and is hanging until it finds it.
When I look in the Windows Task Manager there is a task wcescomm.exe which is ticking over...
