Can you execute query against a DataSet?
I do not mean calling the Filter() function; I mean executing an SQL query with COUNT, SUM and GROUP BY command.
Is it possible? If not, is there a way around?
Thanks,
fred
I have just upgraded my Crystal Reports from version 8 to 9.
When I install and try to run my existing VB program on a user PC, a message box titled "Crystal Report Viewer" gives me the following error message :
The table '' could not be found
Any help is appreciated!
Is there any MSDE or SQLserver like data engine (or something better than Access97 engine) included with VB.Net?
Also, is there any report writing tool (other than Crystal) included with VB.Net?
Thanks,
fred
I need to supress and unsupress a LINE in the detail section - in code (depending on a boolean value of another field.)
When I attempt to do that, I get the following error: Run-time error '70' Permission denied.
Is there a way to overcome this 'obstacle'?
I am using CR version 8.
Thanks,
fred

Short file names still executes fine.
Does anyone know why?
Your input will be appreciated.
