Set the preset forward for that line to the desired mail box and adjust the co forward time to suit your needs. sorry I did not ask which Starplus system you are working on but in general it should all work the same.

Have you verified that cid is being delivered by the telco? I mean installing a cid single line phone on the line/lines in question.I believe that by default cid is enabled on that system.cid display is system wide not, not subject to individual stations.
A new system probably is in order. You might want to look at PCS Digital/XBlue I know they used to sell systems that were compatible with Vodavi DHS phones.
The STS phones have a built in headset jack on the side. (2.5mm mono) Perhaps you could hook into that to get to your amplifier. By default the headset option is not enabled. There is some system programming required as well as individual phone set programming.
