I have no choice. This is the only way we can do it. Thanks for your input. I know I replaced a hard drive one time and I was able to restore it. I do not know if it was a different revision of software or not.

If I backup from a NAM 8 port fiber channel 4.0 and replace it with a NAM 8 port fiber channnel 4.1 will I be able to restore the 4.0 backup? Thanks for any help!!!

I hate to sound like an idiot, but I feel like one. I have to upgrade a NAM from 4.0 to 4.1 and need the procededures. I have been searching around with no luck and I am getting short on time. Any healp would be greatly appreciated. I have not done this for abou 5 years and have forgot.

I have a question. On a 515E ver 6.3 can You set up two different subnets on the WAN. For example if the ISP is providing you a /29 and a /30 to the same interface?

We have a new customer that has MICS 4.1. They want to put in a PRI. It has been a couple of years since I put in a PRI into a nortstar. Isn't their issues with dropped calles on that software releas? What should I upgrade to if needed. Thank you!!!

I rarely ever have to work on a Magix so please excuse me for sounding stupid. I had just recently removed a PRI from a system. The guy from tech support told me to remove the card and renumber the system and that would take care of it. The only thing I did not realise is that it killed the...

I got it. I turned off the system and pulled the pri. Then I did a board renumber and all is good. Thank God and I mean that!!!

What is the easiest way to unprogram and remove a PRI. I have a Magix with 2 PRI's the second one that I want to remove is in its own trunk group and is accessed differently than just the normal dial 9. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!
