I am trying to delete a load of old policies from a windows smartcentre. I deleted the .pf a .w files from the conf directory on the box. But the policies still appear in the drop down list and I have to go in and manualy delete them through the GUI.

I need to put some hyperlinks on a visio diagram linking to other visio diagrams. Cant get these to appear in the text box. anyone know how to do this on visio 2000?
Thanks Mike, I did some research into this and looks like it probably is what is causing the issues. I ran the no fixup command for smtp this morning and so far so good.

I am migrating our network. Our users will now access their mail from a different subnet - sperated by a PIX.
The rules allow all IP traffic between the subnet with the desktops and the subnet with the exchange server.

Can anyone tell me how sunrpc works? Not used sun that much but I am trying to set this up to work through a firewall - which is my area. However I am having problems getting it to work.

try ing to get a connection across a firewall on rpc to a sun box. I have oponed port 111 which is sun rpc portmapper. However the application still will not run.
With rpc - do you only have to open the portmapper port? I thought the agreed ports that the traffic will then pass over will be...
