I am trying to delete a load of old policies from a windows smartcentre. I deleted the .pf a .w files from the conf directory on the box. But the policies still appear in the drop down list and I have to go in and manualy delete them through the GUI. Does anyone know a way around this? There...

dont think you can - the way i used to do it was to export the logs to excel and work with them in there....was a bit of a pain - maybe its changed?

does this have to be a bi-directional rule? cam see requests going out but replies come back and are blocked.

Can anyone tell me how sunrpc works? Not used sun that much but I am trying to set this up to work through a firewall - which is my area. However I am having problems getting it to work. An explanation of what goes on when an rpc connection is established would help. Thanks.
