deleted items.dbx file still large eventhough..??
I certainly won't disagree with the fact that compacting folders make them smaller but I wonder why you want to save deleted messages. Wouldn't it be easier to go to tools>options>maintenance and select empty deleted folder on exit. If you need to save certain messages then create appropraitely...- DoctorDitmco

Outlook Express 6.0 DBX Files can't read??
Wooza, If you can see the .dbx files just click >open with> and navigate to your outlook express folder and click on msimn.exe.
