When designing/choosing a NAS system how does one chose the hardware specifications of the NAS box it's self?
i.e. what processor, ram, etc... should be picked?
I do know this is "how long is a piece of string"!

I'm hoping to get a cheap server to use as a host for back ups, file server and web server in the home.
This server will be connected to a wireless network which will consist of a Workstation a PC and an iBook.

MrTBC - Yes you can boot from the CD but if you don't have the proper CD, like if your calling to someone's house to fix their PC, or trying to do a clean install from an upgrade for someone, you need to have the startup disks to really begin for the begining!

Is it possible to place the 6 XP start-up disks onto a cd for easier and faster install/maintenance?
If I create a WinPE CD how would I get this to boot the correct files in the correct order?
