BE 8.6 Services will not start
You may be experiencing the same thing I was, but I am on Win2K. When this server was a DC, I had no problem. Running BUExec 8.6 on a member server is where I had the problems. As a DC, when the Backup Exec service account is created, it is granted the "Log on as Service" property, but...- djmikk

Media Mount Failed
I have a very similar problem with BUExec 8.6. I am using a Cybernetics Dual tape drive (CY-8000) with a pair of Sony SDX-300C drives. The tapes are 25 native, 50 compressed and I am attempting to back up about 40 gig of data, most of which is not already compressed. I am using hardware...- djmikk
