My CD-ROM makes noises too!!
If you have a creative 48x CD-ROM Drive then the sound problem is fine. It is normal in this drive. I also have a Creative 48X CD-ROM Drive. It also makes a loud sound (like the starting of an Air Conditioner). Just press the MODE button and the sound will go away.<br><br>Best of...- DJ2000
