have noticed that if you have two cd-rom/burners on your pc and the burner is located as a slave (or second on the cable) the XP burner will not recognize it (or so I read somewhere). Might look at that as a possible remedy.

I have a similar problem except that there is nothing in the lower view pane even after forwarding it. I have ran repair on IE6; uninstalled Outlook Express and reinstalled it...all to no avail...I'm still looking for the cure other then reimaging the pc... any other ideas?
