Bill-
Hmmm...ok got 'ya. Seems like there has to be a lookup table that would cross reference their logon name/password with the redirected page. I know this in UNIX but am not sure about FP.
If I run across something I'll post again. Now you've got me REALLY curious!
Take care-

This was quite useful... after I turned it into a list I just created a table and cut and paste the fields where I wanted them. I than simply merged cells, etc. and did additional formatting.
It was too simple to think of at first! Thanks so much.

Hi Tim-
Hmmmm... lets see!
1.)This may sound silly :-) but it might actually be the issue. Connect to the Internet FIRST before attempting to open the web. Just open up connection through dial up connection. THAN attempt to open.
I actually attempted to get to http://macbagpipe.com and...

A bit of clarification....
Would the "opening" page the users go to be the same page for everyone visiting your site OR just a specific URL for password protected sites?
If it is your main page for everyone you could create a logon section that would than redirect them to the...
Hello-
Has anyone customized the layout of the database results region including the heading columns in FP?
Specifically I mean to do more than the wizard will allow.
For example the first "field" to report I'd like to have it on its own line, put in some spaces and than have the...
Ok... to add the 3rd table the code is as follows (was simpler than I thought):
SELECT T_ProductIngredients.ProductNumber, T_ProductIngredients.ProductDescription,
T_ProductIngredients.Size, T_ProductIngredients.Ingredients, T_ProductIngredients.Brand,
T_BrandTelephone.Supplier...
I've actually figured out part of my own problem but am currently only pulling from 2 tables.
The code I entered into Custom Query is as follows:
SELECT T_ProductIngredients.ProductNumber, T_ProductIngredients.ProductDescription,
T_ProductIngredients.Size, T_ProductIngredients.Ingredients...
Hi There-
You could try removing FP'98 completely, clean out registry and reboot.
Than install FP '00. The install procedure will than prompt you to put in the FP'98 cd to verify this is a legal upgrade. All the files are on the '00 cd. Perhaps something was corrupted in the '98 install...

Interesting problem....
You could try these but they may be more of a bandaid fix than the real solution:
Set the length to be 0 for minimum and max length of 50. While it is now required perhaps with the 0 for the minimum it'll help.
Also set the form field length on the actual form to...

I have no idea if this is correct BUT check out this:
-RIGHT click on the form in your .asp page
-Select Form Properties
-Select Send to Other
-Press Options button
Under Action see where your sending the data too.
FP has a bug that requires you to go in and rename the Action to point to...

Hello-
For your effect... are you expecting that it will bring up the word document in a new window, the same window, or basically jump to the bookmarked area of the page?
I wasn't sure exactly and didn't want to provide misleading information.

Just curious.... does a browser automatically look for a default or index.htm(l) file when it goes to a site so having either one would work? I've always been a bit confused about this.
ALSO is there a standard to just name files .htm versus .html? I know that I use DW, and from old...
Hi There-
I don't know how to do this but here's a site that may prove useful:
http://www.unleash.com/billw/
He has scripts for download free, samples, etc.
Best of luck. I bet it'll look cool!
