Yes, trying to go into Safe Mode just returns you back to that same screen. Won't go! So you think the Repair Install option will fix the boot sector on the drive?

You are right,Ed! I have the same program on my computer and I found it in the registry and I remember that the empty folder does remain after uninstalling. Thanks much! :o)

At any rate, Your suggestion worked! I reset everything in the bios again but this time I actually had to remove the battery AND UNPLUG the power cord in order for the bios clock to reset! Just using the jumper and even removing the battery would not reset time/date??? Weird! Well thanks...
