Thanks Rosemary
They've dumped more stuff on me since I posted this so it'll likely be a few days before I chance to put it into use, but I think I get enough of the jist that I can figure it out to fit my needs.
Again THANK YOU for your Post and Input
Have a Good ONE!
Management wanted me to build a report – which I have. I told them while building it that it would be slow (too slow for mass use anyway), but they still had me proceed.
What I need help with is building a Formula or Function that I’d be able to report the following - Start Time/Date, End...
-k,
I think you are pointing me in the right general direction, but I must be a bonehead. When I go to apply the TOP N it only has the option for ContactGroup.CGName and when I apply the TOP 3 it results in listing only the Contacts who have the 3 most resent Notes. Not 3 Notes for each...
Can someone HELP [sadeyes]!!! or make any suggestions PLZ [bigcheeks]!!!
I know this is long winded, but I wanted to try to make sure I provided all info I thought might be needed - I hope I covered it all. [tongue]

I am trying to get help to create a query in an Access2000 for a Contact...
I want to use Conditional Formatting to visually alert users (Red, Yellow and Green).
I have a ComboBox on a Form that I want to display as 'Continuous Forms' that I want to apply Conditional Formatting. I understand that I can use Conditional Formatting from the Format Menu. But the ComboBox...
jays35,
The first time you open a 97 DB with 2000 it should give you the option to Cinvert it. Otherwise if you've tried to open the DB before and choose not to convert it, next time you open it the convert option in not availible and it says that you can make design changes.
To Convert 97 to...
Darrylle,
Thanks - I didn't have a ReQuery when I first posted this. I did add one and that got it working fine in the Form View, but what I'd was really hoping be able to do was have that also function at the Table Level. I'd like to be able to have Staff/Co-Workers entering & updating in the...
Can I do this and where am I going wrong or am I wasting my time because it just can't be done?
In the Data Sheet View of a table [tblOKd] I want to list only individual members (as a Combo Box) assigned to a team as defined in [tblIndiv] based on the selection in the field [tblOKd].[GrpName]...
Thank you One and All.
They all look like very good suggestions. It may be the weekend before I get to try them.
Ann - I was thinking that when I first started this project over three months ago and then got back to it this week that I'd used 3 Address lines, but I only set it up with 2. Would...
I want to create a report that would skip (not print) blank lines. In effect and an Address Book Report with the following basic format:
[Company Name]
[IndivName]
[AddressLine1]
[AddressLine2]
[AddressLine3]
[City], [State] [Zip]
It is a relational database that I'm creating and based on the...
Michael,
Thanks for the input. I worked more in ACT! in 6 hours last night than I had in the 3 years that I've known about it. I did find that I could use the layout design to copy the fields to the standard contact part of the screen then add my own labels (next to what they have changed them...
When a User changes User Def fields in the ACT! interface does it also change the Field Name at the Table Level?
Like if they change "User1" field to "Work Hours" in the interface would it also change the field name to Work_Hours or just leave it as User1?
Or even better...
Chrissie1 [medal],
thank you - Thank You - THANK YOU! You are my Hero!
That was exactly the nudge (OK - it was a give me question) that I needed to get me in the right direction. I've only created the one Module Command so far but it worked perfectly. I should now be able to Copy, Paste and...
I know enough Access VBA Programming to be dangerous, but not enough to make a living at it! - So none of you have to worry about me taking a living out of your mouths. I'm somewhat better at Excel VBA, than Access VBA (but not by much)
What I'm trying to do is Update a field that has been...
