Immediately after my previous message in this thread, I uninstalled manufacturer's drivers for my NVIDIA TNT2 graphics card, and I am back to the drivers supplied with Windows XP. Constant rebooting
Based on advice in recent messages that I should install drivers from the graphics card manufacturer, I did so. Apparently, my nVidia RIVA TNT2 64M was manufactured by a company called InnoVision (inno3d.com), so I installed the drivers from their website. Now it seems I'm getting even more...- denisbider

I should probably also mention that I encountered data corruption errors in the time immediately after installation of Windows XP, and also later during the first time I tried to install Visual Studio .NET. The second installation attempt (for VS.NET) worked alright, and I haven't seen any file...- denisbider
