Message body stripped from forwarded message in Outlook 2003

Thanks for the idea Tat. It seems to have been related to the antivirus software. Disabling was not enough, had to uninstall.

Message body stripped from forwarded message in Outlook 2003

I have a user on our domain that has messages with attachments forwarded to her many times a day. Since I provided her with a new PC running Windows 7 Pro and Outlook 2003, forwarded messages often have the message body stripped. The attachment comes but without any text from the sender. To make...

    Turn off computer>Restart stalls

Thanks bcastner. While I did not find a specific solution I did discover that the problem is being caused by the mouse that I'm using. Just unplugging the mouse fixed the problem. The links you posted made the difference.

    Turn off computer>Restart stalls

Have a brand new compaq 2175US laptop running Xp Pro. All attempts to restart fail. Shutting down and powering back up works fine. Selecting restart or restarts caused by updating or loading software fail to restart. The computer shuts down, the power light goes off and comes back on as if it...

CD drives do not see inserted CD's

I finally got around to deleting Roxio and disabling the XP native burning programs. No difference. I have noticed that the CD burner sees the drive as empty and the DVD drive says the disc is corrupted or incompatable. After rebooting the discs are recognized. If I change a disc I have the same...

CD drives do not see inserted CD's

When I insert a CD in either my burner or DVD drive the drive is still reads as empty. I am prompted to insert a disc. Rebooting with the CD in the drive causes the CD to be recognized, however changing the CD requires another reboot. This is true with audio CD's, and data CD's. I have Roxio and...

    Cannot delete account profile.

smah It's been awhile and I do not remember. That is a definite possibility. Assuming that is the case can you suggest a course of action?

    Cannot delete account profile.

smah I went back and tried your suggestion. The advanced button reports that it only works with Pro not Home. However I unchecked the box requiring a password. The default logon is now administrator not Bridget. Although Bridget does not appear in control panel-user accounts, it does appear in...

    Cannot delete account profile.

Wow. Linney I tried your suggestion and deleted the account "Bridget". Upon reboot I got a system error and a memory dump. Another reboot produced a file check, no errors found and another memory dump. After a couple more tries I booted up in safe mode. Unbelieveably...
