Has anyone used the LDAP portion of Symposium Agent with a Lotus Notes LDAP Server. I have tried many different Search paths and can not seem to make any of them work. Also does anyone know how often SA updates from a LDAP source. There is no LDAP service that runs on an SA server. thanks

If you go with Symposium Web Client 4.5 with SU03 it is not neccessary to use AD. Instead you use a Windows 2003 server with ADAM. This works much better for those companies that are struggling with what to do with AD.

TCMAPP.exe is used in TAPI 2.3 for mapping the TN's to agent LAN ID's. You can still do same thing in the 3.0 verison of TAPIMGMT, you just need to add the user id's in one at a time. But you can still achieve the same result.

Why not go with the SWC 4.5 SU03 version. It is now GA and you are not required to us Active Directory and have a Domian Contoller. Instead you use windows 2003 server OS and ADAM instead. Works very well for those companies that are having issues with AD or the Domain Controller issue.

Licenses should have nothing to do with your current database. You are simply chaning a line item on your keycode for the new sccs 5.0 server. Sounds like your vendor needs to do some more work.

You can leave your SCCS server after a reboot all alone if you would like. The services will start automatically. However I would recommend that you log in with ngensys anyway. Having the server logged in will give you access to logs that will help in maintanence on the server.Better to be...
