I can't find the location of the recycle bin folder in Windows XP Pro -- I'm trying to write a Word 2002 macro to move a file to the recycle bin. I don't want to "kill" or "filedelete" because I want to able to recover it if need be. Thanks -- Doug
In Word 2002, running on Windows XP, my fonts menu shows a number of fonts that are not installed. (I'm trying to limit fonts to Type 1, and there appear to be some name conflicts with "hidden" Truetype fonts.) How do you locate and remove/disable these apparently built-in fonts?
Thanks
Anybody ever encounter an error in printing the automatic previous-page number used in jump (continued) lines? We had one line, entered as ...
Continued from page COMMAND+2
... which appeared on screen as "page 13" (correctly) print out as ...
Continued from page <#>
I've been trying...
No, both are existing documents. What I'm trying to do is something like "append" to suck master pages from one doc or template into another doc.
Thanks for your reply. It turned out to be a virus problem -- w32.Sobig.A@mm and Backdoor.Lala -- and Quark ran fine after we got the PC cleansed. (We're stuck with one version 3 machine here because of a legacy xtension.) Thanks,
Doug
Anybody ever encounter repeated crashing in Quark 3 for Windows after launching and then trying any menu selection?
Error message is "XPRESS executed an invalid instruction in
module SYSMGMT32.DLL ..." I'm on P2, 400MHz, Win98, Xpress version 3.31r5. All help appreciated. -- Doug
We tried Word XP saving variety of Word formats with a variety of Quark import filters, and found the best match (for us, involving Quark on Mac as well as Win) to be saving Word files as version 6.0/95, and using the MS Word 6-7 filter dated 01/07/1999. Hope this helps,
