Hi Yizhar Got this sorted now - I had a static route set back to my machine at home that didn't get dumped with the rest of the config for some reason. Removed that and everything is OK now. Thanks anyway Steve- davo111

winxp to 506 vpn config
I've got a pix 506 firewall / vpn that I need to allow home through to access the office lan, specifically windows shares and the intranet server. I can connect to the vpn from an external XP box , the tunnel and encryption seems to get started but I can't see anything beyond the pix, no pings...- davo111
