I'm trying to set up a live unicast on a Win2K server. It works locally (over the LAN) but external callers can't connect.
My IIS port is 8082. The encoder is sending the encoded information using port 8080.
I suspect that Media Services is trying to broadcast using port 80 which is blocked...
Oops!
Upon closer inspection of my data I discovered two of the array fields contain exactly the same values.
One line is just overwriting (hiding) the other. I discovered this by changing to the 3D line chart.
Guess I owe Bill Gates an apology for all those things I was muttering under my...
I have 5 items I'm trying to track (chart) over 14 days. It's been a struggle attempting to do this with the VB6 Mschart control and is probably a mental block on my end.
I read the data into an array: myarray(14,5). I'm sure the data is filling the array correctly because I print it to a...
I'm writing a VB source code analyzer for myself which seems to be working fairly well.
If you'd like a FREE download guaranteed not to alter any of your source code it's available at:
http://jaswaye.com/downloads
At the bottom of the screen (scroll down) you'll find VBAnalyzer. That's it...
Task Manager works well. It's just that the mstask.exe program no longer exists.
If you do a search on your computer for mstask*.* it will bring up about 10 or 11 files but none of the mstask.exe. The Help files it finds (.chm) refer to the .exe file which no longer exists.
For some reason...
What ever happened to MSTASK.EXE? The .EXE program has vanished from my 2003 Enterprise Server and XP-Professional. There remains some .dll, .hlp, and .chm on both operating systems but the .exe file itself is nowhere to be found. It's also missing from the XP system I use at work.
Was it...
My Live Broadcast (video camera) has the encoder on computer1 and Win2003 Media Services on computer2.
The encoder sends the video through port 8084 which is routed successfully to computer2 where Media Services resides.
My problem is the video can only be seen locally and not from a remote...
If I create a text file today ... how can I change the date of it's creation such that the FileDateTime function returns a date of yesterday or last year within visual basic?
A solution which works well for me is to renumber my original data. Instead of:
File name: 154.jpg
File name: 153.jpg
File name: 152.jpg
File name: 151.jpg
File name: 150.jpg
File name: 15.jpg
File name: 149.jpg
File name: 148.jpg
File name: 147.jpg
File name: 146.jpg
I would rename...
Within Acrobat I replace the target PDF page with its updated version. Once the replacement is made its thumbnail is grayed out so I right click on the thumbnail and then click on the "Create All Thumbnails" option.
I get to the full catalog file in the first place by clicking the file's pdf...
I've been using PageMaker for about 10 years to produce a 150 page black & white mail order catalog.
I've noticed that some of the thumbnails are blue where most are just black & white.
It doesn't cause any problem ("if it ain't broke ... don't fix it!") but curosity is getting the better of...
