No way RPC service is diabled, just about everything else depends on it. But you might be on the right track with something that's disabled by sp2 that can be manually reenabled.

What dns do you get with ipconfig /all for computers that work. It seems a bit weird to me that it's using external dns. Oh and see what happens when you use nslookup with www.yahoo.com.

Hello All! Simple question. The time in the logs generated by ISA is off by 4 hours from the system time. How can I solve this? Oh and does that mean that the times in reports generated in the Monitoring section will be off as well?

That shows you how to set the timeout on cached DNS entries. So if you set it to one second, that will basically flush any cached DNS entries.
Have you tried using a utility to do a DNS lookup? Since ping would look to other...
