It was unplugged and taken to Best Buy, when they checked it they said....mother board probelem..Thats pretty generic..I didn't notice if the light came on on the computer or not...

It makes no noise, just the light on the monitor comes on then goes in sleep mode. Best Buy said it was not the monitor that was a problem...
