yeah..i connected to my hub using a crossover cable and i there aren't any connection led showing on the switch .... i have left the mode staus on the switch to stat which i think is right but still no joy..- dapperdon74

enabling ports on a 3500xl switch
i am a newbie at this cisco thing and i am having problems enabling a port on my switch all the ports are in vlan 1 which is default i think ..but when i go into inferface mode and enable a particular port with the no shutdown command it tels me that its up then on the second line it says its...- dapperdon74
