The setting is per individual DN. If you look at an older DN that works, compare it to the new DN. You will probably find the older pointing to the proper port, but not the new one.
Under F982, the operator is correct. Not sure what you are referencing under "Direct Dial". Under "System Programing" / "Direct-dial" I have "D-Dial1" through "D-Dial5" with choices of "Internal", "External" or "None". "D-Dial1" is set to "internal" all the others are "None
This is on a Norstar MICS, with a NAM. We have the operator set to DN 334, the AA operator set to the same DN, the Greeting tables set to the the same DN. When you hit "zero" internally it is going to a different DN, and its not even the prime set. What am I missing?
Depending on your budget, and the number of lines you need to be able to transfer, you might be able to look at something like a Sipura SP2000. These run about $120 a peice. This is a SIP device which provides 2 FXS ports. Although we don't have it deployed in this exact configuration, I...
What type of ACD? In a Cinphony, you can set a DID to be picked up by a group by going under "configuration", "lines". There you set the DID, routing and group to have the call go to.
Are there any other applications installed on the NAM? I had a similar "mystery ring" scenario with a Modular ICS with fiber cards and NAM that had a Cinphony II ACD package installed. In this case, the caller ID was not effected but the AA and voicemail were. I tried all the items...
Can anyone tell me the correct pair for music input for a Norstar Plus Modular ICS? I thought it was normally the Violet/Slate on one of the station blocks but I am not sure. I am familiar with the programming, I just need the connection. Thanks!
The solution: As it turned out, it was a software problem that was fixed by a patch from Nortel to fix a problem with the redirector. Thank you for the responses
Yes, The line is set to ring for that set, and it does. However, if the person does not pick it up by the 4th ring, it goes to AA. You never hear the 2 tone transfer to voicemail either, the call just stops ringing and the AA picks up. The really wierd thing is that this only happens with the...
Yes, however you need to have ports configured for "analog" service. Your Norstar may or may not have this capability already depending on its configuration and model.
We just installed a new NAM with voicemail and SymphonyII ACD. All works well but when dialing a DID from outside, the call goes to the AA on a Fwd no Answer instead of the voice mailbox of the user. Dialing the extension from inside or selecting it after the AA picks up works correctly and...
