Many thanks to both. It turns out that rgbean is nearly right! The files are all network based, but the 'sharing' problem was due to the GENSCRN program and not to the screens that had been changed :o(

Thanks rgbean. It looks like I'm using GENSCRN not GENSCRNX. I'm a bit new to this so need a little more help. As I'm using Build Project/Executable from FPW 2.6, what do I need to do to make FPW use GENSCRNX instead of the GENSCRN it currently uses?
When building a project in FoxPro 2.6 for Windows, I keep getting the File Access Denied error. I've checked the attributes of the relevant design elements, and none of them are read-only.
Any ideas what I can do?
