after clustering a pair of ISG 1000 we can't get to an individual device as we can't get the mgt port to route. we have a seperate trust interface and see that the mgt port is in the trust vr. the untrust has routing to both interfaces.
If i try an ping an external ip from the trust interface...
I'm sure this is a simple fix but it's driving me batty
We have a Cisco AP1100. Configured with 2 vlans and each vlan has an associated SSID. The AP is connected to a Cisco router with DHCP on each of the vlans.
Everything works as expected until we enable WEP. If I use the same key for both...
Rersolved at last.
So here it is. It turns out its a similar problem to to the known fixup issue on PIX firewalls.
Our cisco VPN concentrator sits on the DMZ of our juniper firewall. Once the tunnels terminate on the concentrator traffic is then sent to the inside LAN. I set the rules on the...
Thanks for the reply. I would like to say I am not an avid Cisco fan hence the Avaya solution but I am begining to wonder if it was the right choice. I implemented the same network to the letter in our test lab with the Cisco call manae solution when we were first considering a new telephoney...
Strange thing is that I put the phones back on the LAN, Registered fine and then changed the phone ports to 100/FULL
I changed the same on the router and tried again. Now the phone seems to register and I get the default view on the phone and the extension comes up but I am unable to make or...
My VPN is between a Cisco 857 and a 3003 concentrator. No fixup commands on either of these.
I changed the phone router ip to point to the local router when it went out to the remote office. It's definitely connecting through the VPN as the TFTP server is on the central site and I can see the...
I know there has been a lot of threads on this subject, believe me I have read them all but I am still unable to make a 5610SW register correctly over our VPNs to remote sites. It connects fine on the LAN which leads me to the VPN. The phones can connect to the 406 and the file server/tftp and...
Thanks Guys it’s been really helpful. I have lots of experience with CCM system but this is the first Avaya System I have installed. To clarify what I am trying to achieve.
We have multiple 0845 0870.... numbers routed to our local 0118 numbers. For example I configured a hunt group for main...
We have multiple hunt groups, main, support, finance....
In each hunt group we have users with extensions assigned to the phones.
I would like for example our support main number to be accessable via a phone so they could put this into DND or foward from the phone. Also recive voicemails that...
I looked at that but what I was ultimatley trying to achevive was the ability to put the extension into DND or forward and recieve voicemails from both extension.
I hope this is an easy yes or no. I am new to the IP office system although I have managed to keep our current system running I was looking to make some improvements. I was wondering if it is possible to assign multiple extensions to a single phone. We use 5410 phones for all users. I can't seem...
I am currently a little confused. I have set up some software at a customer’s site that uses TCP port 443 to communicate with an application at a remote site. The local machine goes through an ISA Server. The connection is failing although I can connect to https websites. I can also telnet to...
