Hi - Does anyone know how to delete a report that has been saved to the Enterprise Folders area in MS CRM? Crystal Enterprise apparently renames the report in very deep directory structure.
Thanks
One additional clarification is to check the dynamics.set file to confirm the location of reports.dic. You will always have a local copy but your system may be set up to reference a network copy.
This is a very common way for users to have common access to modified reports. However, this may...
Hi Baugie - The documentation example shows GetVariable being used with parentheses while the SetVariable example does not use them. Have you tried using GetVariable both ways?
Just a thought.

Hi - Have you checked that IM is recognizing those fields as text datatypes? In IM with the integration open, you can right click the data source and go to properties. The Columns tab will show the datatypes which you can change as needed.
Integration Manager launches a separate executable called "watchdog" whose purpose is to keep the Dynamcis inteface hidden.
What you can do is invoke a debugger in the "before integration" event (or anywhere else). Just add the word "stop" in the code window. I use...
I don't have an asnwer to you question but I think that MBS will drop support for systems running on Novell networks with version 8 of Great Plains. FYI.
One thought came to mind (only b/c it has burned me in the past). Does the login under which you are running the integration have access to the customized screen?
Go to Setup >> Security to control it by user or Setup >> User Class to control by class.
Ivan - Can you post back with some examples of how you want to integrate with GP? My employer uses GP and is currently implementing MS CRM. The experience has been painful to say the least.
Hi - Just to eliminate the obvious question first, can you inquire on this customer and see the invoice as Open? I used Inquiry >> Sales >> Trx by Customer.
Assuming you saved the cash receipt you should see both items listed.

Baugie - How are you "triggering" your VBA code? e.g. does some event like entering a value somewhere trigger the VBA code to fire? If so, I'm wondering if your intergration needs to "touch" that field, even if putting in the default value... not positive on that yet.
Is...
Kim - Are you using the Sales Order processing module? This module has some "fulfillment" functions whereby you can create Sales Orders and "fulfill" them in one or more steps.
Post back if this sounds feasible.

The Fixed Asset module does have an import utility. I used it last year, so am a little rusty on it. The FA User's Guide has the detail. It's accessible off of the Utility >> Financial palette.
Post back if you have any problems.
Sales Orders can only be inserted through Integration Manager. If you examine the properties of the integration there is a property called "Destination Edit Mode." I think master records are the only records that can be updated. Transaction records are "Insert Only."...
