Backup Jobs go to "Hold"
The job will refuse to go to ready or active if you try to change it. Today however, I renamed the Bkupexec dir in sys ( I didn't care to keep any data since it was so long between a complete backup) and loaded 8.5 (I had 8.0) and the patch to go with it. It seems to be working...- curtjohnson

Backup Jobs go to "Hold"
When I schedule a job in BE 8.0 the job goes to "hold" right away. I've checked the history (renamed the dir.), reloaded the software, deleted the Que. I can rewind the tape and eject the tape. I ran tests from the scheduler and it passes. Still goes to hold. I'm thinking of deleting...- curtjohnson
