    Hi Went on site today, IP500 4.1.14, user reporting something weird with their voicemail, system showing message waiting, when he checks the voicemail it says 1 new message, and the proceeds to dial an internal extension number, which gets answered, but they cant hear anything we say...

    So looks like the cable is probably ok then, im next on site on thurs this week, will try increasing the rx gain as you suggest. On the analogue line settings, should it be set to loop start or loop start iclid ? TIA

    Thanks for the reply Yeah i tried a RJ11 - BT cable today, dialed out via 5402 handset, i could see it sieze the line in SSA, but would not go any further, the handset would come up waiting for line, which made me think im either using the wrong cable, wrong analogue trunk settings, or both lol

    TT, ok i will give that a try when im on site next. Quick question under line subtype this is currently set to ETSI, Line signalling is CPE,CRC checking is ticked is this correct for UK/BT pri? I ask just as i notice alot of mention of Qsig in monitor traces.

    Hmmm not good, for my own sanity anwyays. Any of the DS or IP range support turning it off ? Seems like such a simple thing that its hard to see why there isnt a standard option on /off kinda thing.

    Provider thanks quick test over remote that seems to work a treat, ill try it first hand tomorrow when im on site. One quick question if i can save opening a new thread, is it possible to turn off the button tones, on 5410 and 5610 phones ?

    Matt Thing is that it shows the DDI number, when all i want is for this extension to show the billing number unfortunately and on the previous telephone system it worked fine in presenting diff CLI to DDI. As per my post above could be the prob lies somewhere in the shortcodes ?

    No, the only thing i have under ARS is the default 50:Main, with no changes made, however after some further testing remotely tonight, the problem seems to exisit when using 9 to dial outside line. I have a system shortcode of 9N Dial N 0 for some reason this particular phone im testing on...
