Your ISP probably doesn't support multilink PPP. Remove the pp multilink line or find an isp that does. :/

    1603 Opening ports help

Jason you are right, you need to forward all incoming traffic on those ports to your computer. I assume you can access the router via http? If so you can add the lines you need. You'll need to set your computer to a static IP so you have a fixed address to forward to, let's assume this is...

FTP, IRC and Webcam Broadcasts using the 801

IRC DCC's, the same, can't send files thru the router even tho I have set everything up as it should be, everything else works...

    Cisco 801 router

amjr, I have the 801 on my home network and thanks to jeter I got it going :). If you are new to the whole Cisco thing then maybe you should get Cisco's configmaker from their website. I dived straight into the command line and got myself set up but I could have saved myself a lot of time and...

    Need help with Cisco 800

Jeter, thanks a lot mate, that was exactly the problem, as soon as I entered my ISP's DNS ip in the client machines it worked a treat. Thanks! One other little query, my ISP doesn't support multilink (when I enable multilink and dial both lines all network traffic stops, I've noticed it did this...

    Need help with Cisco 800

Hi, I hope someone can help as I am at my wits' end here. Recently got a Cisco 801 ISDN Router and attempted to set it up using ConfigMaker. Network topology is router-hub-two client machines running win98. The DHCP client on the router is working fine and it is assigning the win98 client...
