Hi all,
I'm an automotive designer knowing almost nothing about Unix except that I am now working on a Unix box. We are running a windows-like environment where we can open xterminal windows to run Unix commands. Here's what I need to do...on certain days we have network and software upgrades...
If only I was so lucky, I've repaired, compacted, and also imported all of my data into a copy of the database frame and I still end up with that error. Also I was unable to locate any renegade .ldb files. So does it look like I'm screwed or what? Please tell me that somebody knows how to fix...
The .ldb record diappears once everyone logs out. This has happened with no problems since the record was corrupted. The .ldb file doesn't seem to be the answer.

I did come up with the Record Selector, that works fine, but as for the .ldb file that is all working correctly. It's perplexing to me as well. I've tried everything in the help files but still can't get this to work correctly. Also in the field that I tried to change there is a...
Hi all,
I've got a problem that I can't seem to solve. I've got a form w/ a subform. I'm printing a report using data from both the form and subform. For some reason when I print the report the data from the subform is being displayed in a random order. Originally it would display the data...
Yes, I can open and close the database but the error still remains. This actually happened about a week ago so I'm unable to determine what user modified the record. I also am unable to create an .mde because in our version of access this option is unavailable. What do you think about the...
Actually I tried to check this out and I'm not seeing this icon, does that mean that something is wrong somewhere? Also the problem is that this has already happened and corrupted a record and I need to know how to fix it if at all possible. Thank you for your reply.

Hi all,
quick question, while editing a record in my database I got pulled away while still in the record and during that time someone else entered the same record and made some changes. When I got back to my computer and finished making my changes I got the following message "The...
Thanks for your input, I ended up finding a way to work this before I checked back here. Below is a quick synopsis of what I did:
First of all I made the query a make-table query, I filtered the data that I needed and output this to another table. I then used this output table as my record...
I think the vacation vacated my brain...I'm trying to have a certain query run (update) when I open a form using an On Open Event Procedure. On this form is a button to print a report using the data acquired from the query. When I change info on the form and then need to print this report I...
Is there a way that I can delete data from a table after a specified amount of time (ie. 3 years from the date associated with a record)? I have tried a few different things and I still can't get this to work. I would greatly appreciate any help! Thanks. X-)
