I think the answer may lie in searching MSDN for 'Serviced Component'. The MSDN link with VS.NET Pro installed is : ms-help://MS.VSCC/MS.MSDNVS/cpguide/html/cpconservicedcomponentoverview.htm Type that into ie. I'm checking it now...- Crucifer
