I think Don is referring to the boot screen (the one that normally shows Windows 2000). There is a free utility called Bootskin that makes it easy to alter this screen - this may be what happened when someone changed this on you...

When we eject a tape using BrightStor, export it and import a new tape, BrightStor will nto let us re-inventory a single tape to redetect the tape name. We end up having to STOP/START the Tape function to force it to reinventory all 8 tapes in the carousel... why is this?
