Just installed CR10 SP4. In design mode, reports look good.
When showing using CrViewer in my VB6 application, every report has a 'ghost' section at the very bottom, and it contains about 1/2 inch of stuff about 2 inches from the bottom of the report.
Anybody seen this yet?

I'm a newbie to citrix.
I've developed a VB application that can run as a stand-alone, or can be installed on a server (such as Win2000 or Win2003). If run on a server, I have an additional installation that users must install on each client (for Crystal Reports DLL files mostly).
Will this...
I have 512 meg on this machine.
I may have to resort to removing all of them as designer objects, and instead ship the .rpt files with the project and use CrApp.OpenReport() to open them.
Even up until it worked, it always took about 50 seconds to 'load' when running from VB the first time...
I have VB6 SP6 and CR V10 SP2 hotfix April 2005.
I have a VB project with 18 CR designer objects. When I either first try to run the program, or compile it, when VB is loading/testing the CR designer objects, it crashes.
The culprit is CRHeapAlloc.dll Version 9.2.0.3
I recently installed...
Hi all.
I have a VB6 app that creates several separate Crystal Reports (V10), each of which is being written immediately to PDF files (via CR) in a loop.
I now need to concatenate the PDF files in a specific order. Some of the PDF files can contain multiple pages.
Example:
Form1Page1.pdf +...
My VB6 app uses CR10 RDC to display and print.
A customer has a Brother HL-1440 printer. He can preview the form just fine, but when he prints, he gets nothing but lines etc. No report text, no data.
Any ideas?
If it was easy, everybody would do it.
Problem resolved.
I found on the Kyocera website that they had a recent drive. The customer downloaded it, and everything prints perfectly.
Thanks all.

I get a 'Join expression not supported', and have tried every combination (enforced From/To/Both etc)
It's actually more complex than just tha A->B->C I initially reported.
B also has a link to D, and C links to 1-2-3-4 and then back to D. So there is a straight line A-B-C-1-2-3-4-D, and also...
I have Table A linked to Table B linked to Table C in my CR report.
My Page Header and Report Footer contains items from Tables A and B (company name, address, etc.). I am GROUPING on items in Table C. When there are NO records in table C, nothing shows up in my Page Header or Report Footer...
Well, here's the bottom line. My customer has a "Kyocera FS-9500DN" printer, and anything in Italics or Bold (Arial for both), it substitues gibberish. Ideas?
If it was easy, everybody would do it.
I just thought of something... yesterday, I removed 'OLEPRO32.DLL' from my installation (always gives an error)... Do you suppose that has anything to do with the CR forms printing gibberish?
If it was easy, everybody would do it.
Rats. I changed all 18 CR files to 'No Printer', rebuilt the installation, and the customer is still getting the Gibberish when previewing, and MOSTLY gibberish when he actually prints it out. When he prints it to the printer, all of MY data fields (arial) print fine, but the text etc. on the...
Pete.
I'm having the same problem on a single computer (software I sell). So just setting the Printer in CR development to 'No Printer' takes care of this issue?

How do I lookup EvenVwr?
I DID resolve this simply by rebuilding this installation from scratch, but I would like to bug-hunt a little on it in case I run into it another time...

HELP.
I have a VB6 SP5 program with a successful Wise for Windows installation.
Today I upgraded to VB6 SP6, and when I rebuild and install my Wise installation on another computer, it installs successfully, but when I START the program, it goes into a loop trying to start the installation...
