Hard Drive in BIOS not in windows
Thanks for your help. I put in the windows 2k disk and particianed the space, then I was able to recognize it in windows. Once in windows, it was very easy to format. Thanks again!- crashed29

New Computer Randomly Freezes
Mixed up the chanels to plug in IDE cables. Had HD in 2 and CD in 1. Runs much better now.- crashed29

Hard Drive in BIOS not in windows
I have 2 HDs in a machine I am building, they are both recognized in the BIOS, but not in windows. I have win 2k. I have checked to make sure that the plugs are in correctly and pins are set right master/slave. I go to "my comp" and only one drive shows up. Anyone heard of this?- crashed29
