How do I stop the automatic Friday scan?

Ok, I just found where the task scheduler is in the Control Panel and it did have two entries (I guess the Friday one is created automatically, but not shown from within Norton - not very intuitive). Craig B. (Why be the first? The second rat gets the cheese!)

How do I stop the automatic Friday scan?

In the Antivirus area is where I setup the scheduler to scan every Thursday (there's both a "schedule" icon and a scheduling link at the bottom, but they both go to the same screen). There weren't any other task entries listed, including the one that keeps starting every Friday. Craig B. (Why...

How do I stop the automatic Friday scan?

A Friday night scan is not the best time for me, but Thursday is so I went into the scheduler from Norton (which initially showed no tasks) and created a task to run on Thursday night. During a prior test, I swapped the colors #0 and #64 (the original background color), replaced the background color with color number 0 in the palette and then replaced the pixels that were using color number 0 with the new color...

Transparent background for animated gif not staying

Thanks for replying! Yes, the color backgrounds are exactly the same for all nine frames. In the one test I did not change anything, I just opened it up as an "GIF Animation" and then did a "Save As". The color used for transparency is number 64 in the color palette. Does...

Transparent background for animated gif not staying

Hi, I just found this forum so this is my first post here. However, I am not new to forums in general, so I did what I should and performed a search first but didn't find my answer. I have a small nine frame animation that I wanted to reduce in size, however I seem to be unable to get the...
