audio file size
When exporting the sound from a small movie clip (812 KB) into AIFF format (so that it will be easily played on a PC), the audio file ends up being much larger than the file that contained video and audio -- 1.7MB! There are some compression tools offerred, but I don't have a clue about which...- cpmomcat

quicktime ,MAC to PC
I was told that I needed to save the file as a self contained movie for it to be viewed on a PC. That however has not solved the problem, but it is apparently one of the things one needs to do. I was then told: 1) For video, try using the 3IVX codec. It's a true Mac/PC cross platform codec...- cpmomcat

Separating sound and video in .mov files
Is there any way to make the sound file smaller in QuickTime Pro? The sound only file is as big and the file for video and sound (and in some formats it is even larger). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.- cpmomcat
