    Cannot ping hosts on same subnet

    ARN router. LAN IP 192.168.40.188\23 All hosts that have a x.x.40.x address have no problems pinging them. Host that have a .x.x.41.x can only ping sporadically, even though I can see lots of .41 addresses sitting in the arp cache. If I flush the arp cache I can momentarily ping .41 addresses...
