    sybase number displaying incorrectly in report

    I am trying to print a number field from Sybase (9.0.1) that is 15 digits long. However, CR 8 is not printing the correct value. The number that CR shows is a negative 10 digit number. Is it a field type conversion problem?

    Mike I tried that after your first post, but I couldn't get that to work. I then tried opening Excel, setting DisplayAlerts = .F., closing Excel, and opening Excel again but that didn't work either.

    Is there anything I can do for an Excel workbook that has already been created by a user? I am just extracting data and not actually creating a worksheet in code.
