Check to see if you have port forwarding turned on in the Linksys box at the remote site. I have used a similar setup as you, and the linksys box may be blocking the dynamic UDP port for the voice traffic. Try forwarding all the ports (0-65000) in the Linksys box to the IP Address of the IP...
You have to have each location on an internal routable IP address. If you are using 192.168.X.X IP Ranges at the remote sites, then they have to be routable internally at the call manager for the voice traffic to make it across the wan. If you cant ping the phone from the call manager, then...
I spent time looking at the Router debugs, and I agree that it might be a Router issue. From looking at the debugs, and at info off the Cisco Website, I get the feeling that the Router is not sending the correct digits to the call manager, even though it "looks" right.
Here are the voice ports...
I am unable to recieve inbound calls from my VG200. Looking at the Q931 trace, the inbound caller ID, Called number, and Calling number are all correct, so the call manager is getting the right info from the VG200. I am able to make calls out of the VG200, and to other phones. The only thing I...
In SRST mode, everything works except for inbound calls. The IP phone is registered and able to make outbound calls to the POTS network and to other IP phones in SRST mode. When a incoming call is made, the inbound CO port comes off hook. Somewhere I have a problem between the FXO port and the...
This absolutely will work because I am doing it! It doesnt matter how long the latency is as long as the packets arrive in the correct order. The conversation might sound like a CB radio depending on the delay, but it will work, and it is a free call. I just talked to a friend in Kosovo this...
You would have to setup all the phones with the same number. Its called a shared line. If you are using 2 line phones, setup line 1 as shared, then give the second line its own extension. Picking up another phone on the shared line once it has been answered will require you to "barge"...
On our network, we have one DHCP server with a large number of scopes, and use helper addresses for getting all our remote sites to hit the DHCP server over the wan. We use seperate Vlans for the Phones and the data port, but they still use the same DHCP server with the option 150 setting.
What...
I am running VOIP over VPN to Kosovo, and other places, and it is working great. It really doesnt matter how long the delay is as long as the packets arrive in order. On the Kosovo link, there is a noticable delay, (its a VPN over satellite) but the voice quality is good. I highly recommend...
Hey Jerake57 Could you e-mail me your VG200 Config file (and yes... please take out all the confidential info..) I would like to see the h.323 version since i am having trouble with inbound calling in H.323 gateway mode.
Thanks John

Caller ID is supported with VIC-2FXO-M1 ports, and the ports are picking up the Caller ID. I see the information when I run debug. Its the communication between the gateway and the Call Manager that is giving me grief.
I would appreciate it!!! My wife is ready to pull the plug on my system at home because she wants Caller-ID.
Did you setup the VG200 as a h323 gateway in call manager or a trunk?
Thanks

Can you download the 3.3.3 upgrade file off the cisco site? I just went through a nightmare upgrade, and I had to run the upgrade program. I wanted to install new drives with a new install of 3.3.3, and migrate like you describe, but even with the flag in place, it didnt work on an MCS box.
