I'm not sure what changed as I'm pretty sure this used to work, but for some reason users cannot conference another internal extension. They can conference up to the limit of external numbers, but can't get an internal extension on the call. Any ideas? Thanks!
Actually, that wasn't completely true, that it worked. I set up 1888 exactly like 1800 in the toll table, without paying attention to what I was doing. Upon looking closer, and trying to add 1877 and 1866, the only way it worked was putting an x in the unrestricted call list field. Now I'm...
Thanks, TelcoTech - that did the trick. However... I don't quite understand why it worked. I'm confused, as it seems that the toll analysis table does the opposite of what I would have thought. Do you know of any documentation that would explain how the table is used? I didn't find anything...
NX01 - Nope, that didn't work. Could still dial 800, but not the others.
Orypecos - Just these 2 phones in this particular COR.
TelcoTech - I will likely try your solution.... it's just so frustrating, because it SHOULD work as is... I think.
Yes, the results were all the same - either route pattern 3 or p3. Partition route index 3 does point to route pattern 3. My ARS Digit Conversion table is empty. Any more ideas? I really appreciate your help! Thanks!
Yes, they are all the same. ??? I just change the call pattern to trunk group 3 from p3 to see if it would make any difference - they were all p3. What do you think? Thanks!!!

Here are the list traces. Looks like it's related to ARS, but they're all defined the same in the ARS table. ?? Thanks!

I’m sure I’m overlooking something simple, but I just can’t figure this out. I installed 2 phones in our training lobby to replace pay phones. Created a new COR for these phones, with Calling Party Restriction at All-Toll. Dialed an 800 number, worked fine, tried a long distance call and got...

I'm curious... I upgraded to 4.01 recently (September)and paid not only for the upgrade but also Mailbox Manager. Is that an Avaya promo that began more recently, and would it also be free through Avaya business partners vs. buying through Avaya directly? Thanks!
The COR I use for modems has the "Called Party Restriction" set to "Termination" - which blocks the modem from receiving any calls.
Sorry, didn't realize that an entry in that field is optional... but it is! You are right, you can access a port directly from a phone and get dial tone. The station COR has to have "Facility Access Trunk Test" set to yes and I believe also "Console Permissions" set to yes...
If you can walk someone through logging into the switch, have them type disp trunk 1. The list of phone numbers and associated ports should be on page 5.
When I initially tried to set up the time synchronization with the PC, it didn't work for me either. I found a patch on the Avaya web site that corrected the problem, it's Avaya Site Administration 1.12.2 Patch 3. If you do a search on the support area of the site for time synchronization...
Hi again! Thanks to all of you for the help!
PBXMan - Yep, clear as mud. : ) Just kidding, you explained it perfectly and I understood. And I tried it. With the same result as I've been having - I could call the new extension, other internal users couldn't. More ideas?
