I'm trying my best to manually set this phone up and I've run into a problem. AFter initializing, the display has stopped and the message being displayed is "DISCOVER xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" which is the address to the Medpro card. Can someone point me in the right direction?

It's actually hitting an outgoing trunk, but then goes idle. It seems as though it's hitting the LEC and the message comes back as an invalid number.

There is a local phone number that is no longer accessible from dialing it from our Definity G3, as of a few days ago. No changes have been made to the switch pertaining to this area. BUT if you dial it from a cell phone it works normal. I looked at the digit analysis table and everything...

prflash, We are using the T1 for a dial-in function. A user dials the main ext., and then is transfered to channel 1, if channel 1 is busy, then the user is directed to channel 2, and so on and so forth... No one ever calls directly to the different channels.

If we have a T1 coming onto our facility, but we are only utlizing 25% of the channels, how can I separate those channels in order to use a few for a different task?

Ok, so I think the answer I'm looking for is "NO". :-) We do have the capability of setting the PRI/BRI settings, but we do not have ISDN service to an outside entity. Thank you for clearing that up.....

Is it possible to set up a user with ISDN service from a Definity G3 or would you have to go through a LEC for that service?
