That's odd. I dont have the option to fix the sidebar. The only options I have are: Start Sidebar when Windows starts Sidebar is always on top of other windows Display Sidebar on this side of screen: Left / Right Display Sidebar on monitor: 1 / 2 View list of running gadgets Restore gadgets...

Regrettably this is not going to work as it involves replacing the 64 bit sidebar with the 32 bit version and that is what I am already using. I dont understand German so dont know if this resolved the issue for Paulchen. Thanks anyway.
