Sorry for the delay in responding, but following the un-install and re-install of the print drivers, we're still getting the same problem. There are a couple of PCs showing the same behaviour so I'm wondering if it's a network problem.
Guys,
Using Crystal Decisions v11.5, how can I set user permissions so the user has the ability to amend the details in the Schedule -> Destination tab; specifically the email title field. I've set up a report which is emailed out each, but the email title needs to be manually changed before...
Guys,
In BO v11.5, I've two basic reports set to run each night which return the number of stock items.
Example of report one:
-----------------
| Apple | 2 |
| Banana | 3 |
| Melon | 5 |
-----------------
I have four further, more detailed reports set up, one each for Apple...
Thanks onedtent, manually editing the text resolves the formatting problem, but how do I prevent it from happening? I've already replaced the fonts on the machine with a fresh set and the print drivers work for everyone else on the network.
We've three HP printers on the network and it happens on all of them, but only for this one user. Everyone else can print without problem.
The printers are very recent installs and so I haven't updated their drivers since installation. Would this resolve the problem if all other users can print...
Guys,
Is there any way to add additional placeholders within the specified file name textbox? I'd like to include one of the report parameters within the exported filename. And if possible, the number of records returned within the report itself.
Regards,
James
Guys,
This is a really odd one - I have a machine which periodically corrupts various Word documents when the user sends it to print. The document squidges (a technical term) up the words in Verdana font size 10 making it unreadable. Following the print, if you change the font to another size...
I've figured it out. On both the server and my machine, I deleted my User DSNs, replaced then with System DSNs and ensured they had the same log in information.
Once the report referencing both DB1 and DB2 was loaded into BOXI, I updated the SQL login details in Process -> Database with the...
Good point Groggle. We're running SQL authentication here.
Following your advice gives the following:
Report 1 pointing to DB1 works fine;
Report 2 pointing to DB2 returns a "Failed to open the connection" message.
Both ODBC connections use the same user credentials to log in and work fine...
When I add a report which points to just one database, I don't need to add login parameters. I've manually added password information for both data connections but without success.
Guys,
I'm using BO Crystal Decisions ver 11.5 and I've got reports which have links solely to one database working fine. However, when I add a report which references two databases located on the same SQL 2005 server, I get the following message: "Unable to connect: incorrect log on...
Hi all,
Can anyone help me create a new record in GM7 using GoldMine.UI? I can successfully create a new record in Contact1 and set any values I wish, however, I cannot update Contact2. The row for this new record is only created in SQL once I access the record in GoldMine.
I've tried to use...
