My main audio device does not appear on bootup until I execute "sfc /scannow". I now run "sfc /scanboot" to ensure this runs each time I boot up the PC - I do not want to do this as it takes nearly 10 minutes. Is there a permanent solution?

I have lost the standard Welcome/Login screen with all the user names, and it has reverted to the old style login window. I have used the Control Panel - User Accounts function to no avail. How do I get it back?

4 clients, 1 server all running Win2k Pro. It was installed by another person and was working for a while. The network had some problems and he changed the IP addresses from automatic to static. I was aked to come in and try and sort it out but I've tried everything I can think of.

The 'Map Network Drive' utility is used to setup the folder on the Clients and that's when the error message 'Network folder not found' appears

All the folders are fine, with standard names.

Folder set up correctly with permissions etc. The Server and Clients are all running Win2K Pro and have IP addresses set up manually.

PCs on network all use Win2K - clients are no longer able to access folders on server, error "Folder not found". What could cause this?
