    Adding "NoUser" to Paging

We've had much success using the built in paging, broadcasting to ~50 extensions across multiple floors.

    Adding "NoUser" to Paging

We've recently added a number of extensions to our IP Office that have not yet been assigned employees. Rather than construct "Guest" users for each extension, we're leaving them as "Please Log In"... which works fine for us for now. Is there any way for these extensions to be included in the...

Cisco Router -- RIP Dynamic Routing

Hello, We have 2 locations. Site A has Networks 192.168.9.0 and 192.168.10.0, Site B has Network 192.168.12.0. These sites are connected via a Serial Point to Point connection, which will failover to IPSEC VPN should the Serial Route go down (using RIP). I am having difficulty having the...

    Avaya Wireless IP Phone 3620

We have access points... but why is the "AVPP" required? From my understanding it's not required if we were plugging in an IP phone into our network... why is it required for a wireless IP phone? Thanks!

    Avaya Wireless IP Phone 3620

Hi... Is an AVPP really required? I was hoping that maybe it wouldn't be... that instead it'd function similar to an IP handset, linking directly to our 406v2 (running 3.2.17) Thank you for that document! Colby

    Avaya Wireless IP Phone 3620

Also - we don't have a "configuration" cradle for the phone... just a charging cradle. Is it possible to program the phone from the wireless handset itself?

    Avaya Wireless IP Phone 3620

Hello, We've come into possession of an Avaya Wireless IP Phone 3620. Is it possible for us to hook this up to our IPO 406v2 (with VCM 24) ? I know how to program a typical IP phone, however I don't know how to program this wireless phone. Any tips are appreciated! Thanks, Colby

Adding IP Phone's to our IPO

Unfortunately the office is opening in 2 weeks, so I can't wait around for SIP :-) Perhaps we'll take a look at 5610.

Adding IP Phone's to our IPO

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. I'm thinking of purchasing 2 vpn firewalls and 2 IP phones, so that I may maintain 1 configuration here, and send the other overseas. That will allow me to replicate the environment should anything arise. We're located in New York, US and sending to our...

Adding IP Phone's to our IPO

While I know that Avaya won't support plugging their phone directly into the Internet, it should still work, no? Given that this phone will be deployed overseas in China and I won't be onsite to perform the installation I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible. To deploy a remote VPN...

Adding IP Phone's to our IPO

Hello, We've recently deployed 2 IPO 406v2's to two of our offices. Currently we're utilizing digital handsets, such as the 5410D, on site, with an IP line connecting the two offices. We've just begun discussing the possibility of adding IP handsets to our system to be deployed remotely to our...
