I got it!!! Put in a web cam that is focused directly on the led of the phone. Write an asp script that will take the web cam output and make it "blink" on a web page. WOW !!! Version 2.0 would give web control to the blink rate! Hey .... what about writing some flash animation .... This...
If the phone had a firmware version 1.61 or earlier and your TFTP server had a version later than the 1.61 your phone will try to upgrade when it boots. If this was you enviroment the phone will no longer be functional. Upgrade ANY 4630 set to version 1.61 THEN upgrade to the latest version...
You are missing the 46xxsetting.scr file. Download it from Avaya and then you should be able to get the phone to work. Also remember there is a firmware version specific to a 4630 set, make sure you use that one.
Hope this helps

What you have is an IP Office. It's the replacemnet for the Magix system. It will do 64XX, 44XX, 46XX series phones, Ip trunks, analog. Its a PBX in a box. The Avaya web site should have info on it.
Thanks

I have used both, VPN and a terminal server. Both work great. I did have to play with the settings on the terminal server to drop the telnet session when I drop the PC connection. After I figured this out no problems.

IP softphone is support with NAT. There is a patch you need to request from Avaya that allows the soft phone to work with NAT. Hope this helps
Thanks

02 goto step 11 if time-of-day is all 18:00 to all 08:00
03 goto step 11 if staffed-agents in skill 2 < 1
04 queue-to skill 2 pri l...
Data Module will not work. Depending on your switch version you can use an analog port or and aux trunk. Use the command "change system features", go to mucis on hold field. Enter a spare analog port location. If it accepts it your system will work with analog. If not you will...
Find out what the trunk access code is for the trunk. Do the command " list trace tac {trunk TAC Code}. This should give you some clues. The dialed digits are the digits the LEC are sending you.
Thanks
