Still researching and learning about the EDI process in particular 820s. I curious about the 997 acknowledgement notice. Does this get sent by a VAN when a 820 is in my mailbox or do I have to create a 997 from my end to send out?

Nevermind. You need to clear the vpdn username line and re-enter all the vpdn usernames.

After logging into the Pix firewall, go into: config terminal access-list acl-outside permit tcp any host IPADDRESS eq 515 This will create an access list for the ip addresses that you have accessible from port 515. Hope this helps!
